Host families in Louth embrace these young visitors as if they were part of their own, making them feel at ease in a foreign country. The natural warmth of the Irish people mirrors the close-knit family values many European students are accustomed to.

Sharing Cultures,
Creating Memories

Our small agency specializes in placing Spanish and German secondary school students, aged 14 to 17, with carefully selected host families in County Louth.

We take pride in hand-picking each family to ensure a warm, welcoming experience that feels just like home. Our coordinators bring a personal touch, as they are current host families themselves, and truly understand the value of cultural exchange and the positive impact it can have on both students and hosts.

We’re dedicated to creating a supportive, enriching environment where students can fully embrace Irish life and make lasting memories.

Life in Ireland

Life in Ireland offers students an exciting blend of cultural discovery, academic development, and social interaction. With its rich history, vibrant traditions, Gaelic sports, music, art, and lively festivals, Ireland is a captivating place to live and learn. And, of course, the country’s stunning green landscapes and breathtaking scenery add to its charm.

Ireland provides an excellent opportunity to improve your English, as it’s the primary language spoken. While we’re known for our many unique dialects, you’ll quickly adapt to Dundalk’s distinctive local accent.

The Irish weather is mild but often rainy, so be sure to pack plenty of warm, waterproof clothing. It’s not unusual to experience multiple seasons in a single day! During the winter months, many Irish people enjoy a cozy indoor lifestyle, focusing on home comforts and indoor activities—a contrast to the outdoor-oriented lifestyle often found in other European countries.

Meal routines in Ireland vary from family to family, but typically, dinner is the main meal of the day and is enjoyed between 6 PM and 8 PM, while lunch is considered more of a light snack. We encourage you to explore our traditional Irish dishes, such as hearty stew, Irish pudding, bacon and cabbage, or a delicious Irish apple pie.

Plenty of rain!!!
